In this module we start with the importance of strategy in achieving investment goals and we review several of the investment strategy approaches that investors routinely implement. We then take a close look at the characteristics some of the alternative assets that high net worth investors seek out for purposes of diversification and enhanced returns, including real estate, hedge funds, and private equity. The module concludes with an analysis of many of the investor behaviors that have been identified and studied over time, as well as suggestions for helping high net worth clients to overcome these behavioral biases.
