Are you aware that the College offers 17 military and military spouse scholarships each year? These scholarships usually go unawarded. Why? My only guess is that we do not get the information out to our military students and their spouses effectively.

Ok, now you have reviewed this and said "Well, I have tuition assistance, so I don't really need to submit an application for any of these." So, what part of FREE do you not understand? We have a total of six graduate degree scholarships that could be awarded; how many we awarded last year: ONE!
You may have a spouse or military friend that may not want a graduate degree, but is interested in other financial service educations. We have three scholarships for our designations programs, and five scholarships for military spouses in our Foundations in Financial Planning program.
Ok, again, what part of free do you not understand? As a retired Marine Corps Officer, I will tell you that I had to earn my education through tuition assistance and VA benefits. What I would have done to have earned a scholarship that paid for any of my degrees!
I strongly encourage you to review the scholarships available, tell your spouses and military friends, and spend the hour-plus necessary to put together your package and submit it to the College by September 1, 2010. The only cost to you might be the 44 cent stamp. The end result might be a scholarship. DON'T LET THIS OPPORTUNITY PASS YOU BY!
